Case Facts: Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $ 1,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of Dan
Joseph Hertzler.
Pennsylvania State Police at Newport, Perry County, are currently seeking the whereabouts
of Dan Joseph Hertzler for Burglary, Theft and Escape. Between May 1984 and February 1985,
Hertzler was alleged to have been involved in 42 incidents of Burglary and/or theft in
several central Pennsylvania counties. Hertzler was sentenced to Dauphin County Prison and
subsequently released to assist in clearing the investigation. On February 21, 1985, he
fled on foot from officers who were in the process of recovering stolen property from his
residence and has since eluded authorities.
BERTZLER is described as a 33 year old white male who stands 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has hazel eyes and was last seen with blonde curly hair. His last known address was the 100 block of North Madison Street, Harrisburg.
