The South Strabane Township Police Department continue their investigation of the Rape, Robbery, Burglary/Home Invasion that occurred in South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.    In the early morning hours, approximately 3:00 a.m., on December 31, 1998, two males broke into a woman's home in the Glenn Street/Maple Avenue area of South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. The victim was in her mid 60's at the time of the incident. The suspects were described as Caucasian, possibly in their 20's or early 30's and of average height.   Forced entry was made by breaking the glass to the rear exterior doors of the home. While making entry, one of the suspects announced "It's the police - we're breaking in" Once inside the suspects ripped the phones off the walls and proceeded to steal the following items:    Numerous jewelry items, including five turquoise rings, a turquoise stone watch, a turquoise necklace, turquoise bracelet, turquoise horse head necklace, five Guess watches, a silver watch, a gold watch, a set of gold wedding bands, interlocking gold engagement and wedding rings, an antique gold wedding band, a Timex watch, a Bolo Tie/silver horse head, and many other pieces of jewelry. Also taken were personal checks and cash.   Before leaving, both suspects raped and sexually assaulted the victim for several hours telling her she would be killed if she contacted the police.   During the home invasion, DNA evidence was left at the scene by both suspects.
