The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, Embreeville continue their investigation of a Robbery that occurred at the National Penn Bank, South Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.

On Saturday, June 21, 2008, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a black male in his mid to late 20's entered the National Penn Bank at 1111 Ridge Road, Pottstown, Pennsylvania. After entering the bank, the suspect wrote a demand note at a writing station in the bank. In the demand note, the suspect implied that he had a weapon. However, no weapon was displayed. The suspect approached a Teller and gave her the demand note. The Teller provided the suspect with approximately $2,400. The suspect grabbed the money from the counter and fled the bank on foot.

The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap with the letters "CR" on the front and a sticker tag still visible on the bill of the cap, black wire rimmed sunglasses, an oversized black long-sleeved shirt with the appearance of a white T-shirt underneath, faded baggy blue jeans that appeared to have a square shaped -frayed area on the right thigh.
