 The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Hollidaysburg, is investigating an Arson fire that occurred in Blair County, Pennsylvania.  On Thursday, April 10, 2008, at approximately 9:00 p.m., a fire was discovered at a residence on Freedom and Municipal Streets, East Freedom, Freedom Township, Blair County. The building was a single family home occupied by a 53 year old woman who was inside the residence at the time of the fire.  An investigation by a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal determined the fire was deliberately set and ruled Arson.  There were no injuries to the occupant. However, the family pet, a dog died in the fire. The building sustained approximately $50,000 in damage.
