   The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop K, Philadelphia continue to investigate the Escape of William Edward Farrell, Jr.  In May 2006, William Farrell was accepted into the pre-release program with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and was transferred from the State Correctional Institution (SCI)-Camp Hill to the Coleman Hall at 3950 D Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. William Farrell was to remain at this facility until paroled, transferred, or until completion of his sentence.  On August 10, 2006, William Farrell was given permission to leave the facility at 7:00 a.m. for work, but was due back at the facility by 6:00 p.m. William Farrell failed to return to the facility and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.  William Farrell's last known address was 4716 Leiper Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also known to frequent North Philadelphia, Trenton and Somers Point, New Jersey.
