PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION
LEADING TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNKNOWN ARSON SUSPECT(S).
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop R, Dunmore, Fire Marshal is
investigating multiple Arson fires that have occurred in Lackawanna
County, Pennsylvania.
From March 2007 to March 2008, there have been five fires, in the
Mid Valley Region of Lackawanna County. All five fires have been
ruled as Arson.
The first fire occurred on March 7, 2008, between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30
a.m., at Haband Manufacturing, Rear Main Street, Blakely Borough.
The second fire occurred on September 21, 2007, between 7:00 p.m.
and 7:30 p.m., at Mermelsteins Marketplace, Main Street, Carbondale
Township.
The third fire occurred on October 23, 2007, at 6:00 a.m., at a residence
on 320 Third Street, Blakely Borough.
The fourth fire occurred on March 26, 2008, between 10:00 p.m. and
11:00 p.m., at Highway Auto Parks, Eynon/Jermyn Road, Archbald.
The most recent fire occurred on March 31, 2008, between 12:30 a.m.
and 1:30 a.m., at Fiorellis Plaza, 1560 Main Street, Blakely Borough.
The loss for these fires is estimated at approximately $4.5 Million
dollars.
