PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION
LEADING TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNKNOWN ARSON SUSPECT(S).
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M, Dublin, Fire Marshal is
investigating an Arson fire that occurred in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
On Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 2:55 a.m., a fire was reported after
an explosion was heard at the Mountainview Plaza, 2500 Mountain View
Road, Nockamixon Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Arriving fire
companies found the building fully involved in fire.
The complex consists of two separate buildings, and housed five retail
businesses; NAPA Auto Parts, Ink Addictions Tattoo, Upper Bucks Chiropractic
Office, the Sportsman's Table and E Clips Salon. The entire complex
was destroyed by the fire.
An investigation was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire
Marshal, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and
the Bucks County Fire Marshal. A criminal investigation is being
conducted. The investigation has revealed an accelerant was spread
through one of the retail businesses and ignited by an unknown suspect(s).
Two vehicles were observed in the area about the time of the fire.
A black pick-up truck with a light strip running between the tail
gate and rear bumper. The light strip appeared to be partially burned
out on the driver's side. Also, a tan colored sedan was observed
driving from the area of the complex and leaving the scene traveling
South on SR 412.
The loss is estimated at over $2 Million dollars.
