PENNSYLVANIA CRIME STOPPERS IS OFFERING A CASH REWARD FOR INFORMATION
LEADING TO THE ARREST OF A YET UNKNOWN SUSPECT(S) IN THIS CASE OF
THEFT.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop G, Rockview are investigating
a Theft that occurred in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
Sometime between Saturday, March 22, 2008 and Tuesday, March 25,
2008, an unknown suspect(s) stole a 20 - 30 foot copper propane line
from a property in Benner Township, Centre County. The suspect(s)
also cut a lock off a barn door, stealing four wrench sets. The suspect(s)
also entered two vacant residences on the farm and removed copper
tubing from oil drums. One of the oil drums had approximately 150
gallons of fuel which drained out of the tank and onto the basement
floor. The fuel then made its way out of the residence and into a
field via a drain.
The spilled fuel caused approximately $30,000 in clean up damage.
